Employees of the Hydrobiology Laboratory of the Institute of Biology of the University of Latvia, since May 2020, have been involved in the implementation of the ambitious project “Implementation of Latvian River Basin Management Plans to Achieve Good Surface Water Status” (LIFE GOODWATER IP). The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union Environment and Climate Program LIFE and the National Regional Development Agency.
The leading partner is VSIA “Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center” (LEGMC). 19 partners are involved in the implementation of the project activities, one of which is also the Institute of Biology of the University of Latvia.
