Institute of Biology of the University of Latvia (UL), with the support of the European Union (EU) funds, has established a research center of national significance for the extraction and sustainable use of energy and environmental resources in Miera Street 3, Salaspils.
The Institute of Biology implemented the project in the sub-activity "Development of Scientific Infrastructure" of the Supplement to the Operational Program "Entrepreneurship and Innovation" in the first round of selection of project applications. in the project "Establishment of a National Research Center for Technologies for the Extraction and Sustainable Use of Energy and Environmental Resources (including the Development of the Transport and Mechanical Engineering Center)".
