Bioloģijas institūta Botānikas laboratorijas herbārijs (LATV)
LU Bioloģijas institūta Botānikas laboratorijas herbārijs (LATV) ir viens no lielākajiem herbārijiem Latvijā. Dibināts 1951. gadā. Kolekcijā atrodas apmēram 180 000 vaskulāro augu herbārija eksemplāru. Kolekciju veido, galvenokārt, Latvijas augi, nedaudz pārstāvēta Amerikas, Eiropas un Āzijas flora.

Herbārija kolekcija ir zinātnisko pētījumu bāze, kas saistīti ar Latvijas floras izpēti un tās aizsardzību, kā arī studentu apmācībai.
Herbārijā iespējamas arī ekskursijas .
Bez kolekcijas Herbārijā ir arī bibliotēka, pārsvarā dažādu reģionu Floras, monogrāfijas taksonu sistemātikā un nomenklatūras rokasgrāmatas.

Herbāriju iespējams apmeklēt darbadienās, vēlams iepriekš pieteikt apmeklējumu.

Latvijas nacionālā floras datu bāze (LNFDB)

Latvijas nacionālajā floras datu bāzē atrodas dati par Latvijas floras (vaskulāro augu) taksoniem, kurus reģistrējuši LU BI Botānikas laboratorijas botāniķi 55 gadu ilgā floras pētniecības laikā.

Galvenie informācijas nesēji ir:

* LU BI Botānikas laboratorijas Herbārija (LATV) datu banka

* Floras izpētes maršrutu taksonu saraksti (apm. 4000 saraksti, katrā 971 latīnisko sugu nosaukumu saīsinājumi)
* Floras izpētes kvadrātu kartogrāfiskais materiāls (1017 kvadrāti, kvadrāta lielums ~ 7×10 km)
* Latvijas vaskulāro augu zīmējumu kolekcija

Kopš 1995. gada LNFDB tiek pārveidota par elektronisko datu bāzi. Aptuveni 1/3 no datu daudzuma ir datorizēti.
